Let's talk a little about CO 2 Incubators. Something wrong happens with the incubator at summer? You can't reach the CO2 stability? Your CO2 cylinder finished in the short period of time? Condensation at inner glass door?
All these questions you can ask may be too late. Don't let this surprise you-make half year maintenance. For really small money you can save your culture, your time and most important -your money.
What you need to do:
. Check the temperature (what you can see on the display not always the true. Sometimes it MUST be recalibrated)
. Check the CO2 Value. It can be done with special instruments.(Usually calibration needed).
. Add the water to the Water Jacket (Models with water Jacket)
. Periodically change the water at water pan inside the instrument.(Use DDW).
